3D ARE City is a project for the urbanization and building of an imaginary city placed on a parcel of land of about 640.000 square meters, entirely outlined with Google Sketch Up program.

In relation to the urbanization I have created some tracks that have been edged in their whole perimeter to create the plots of ground in which we can insert buildings, and also including underground passages, entry and exit of vehicles to the parking placed under central square, sidewalks, street lamps, and gardens.

In relation to building I have designed two types of edifices,

A: Those that are more complex to outline, i.e.,

·         The Town Hall

·         The Church

·         The museum

·         The Library

·         The Civic Center

·         The ARE Sports Pavilion

·         The Semicircular Pergola

·         The Circular Pergola

·         The Sportive Club

·         The Arab Little Palace

B: And those of minor complexity that are used only to stage adaptation, i.e.,

·         New York Building

·         ARE Hotel

·         The Supermarket

·         Apartments

·         Twin Buildings

I would like to say that although at a first glance the urban space appears to be a mixture of different styles of constructions, the real thing is that I have done that with the purpose of experimenting with different types of architectures.

On the other hand, it is really evident that there is a lot of free and unusable space for this project being like a real city, but this has been done willingly because I am not tied to any remunerated plan.

At last I would like to point out that the present project has been the first one I have outlined in three dimensions by using the Google Sketch Up program, and I have also to add that it is a marvelous tool, although I imagine it will be overcome in a near future by the Pro version.
